Minutes 6 September, 2002 Present: Dacre Holloway (Host), David Pankhurst, Bonnie Blackwell, Gwilys Price, Marian Thornton, Brenda Noble Apologies: Martin Smith, Mike West, John Winson, Bruce Beacham, David Redfern Minutes of Previous Meeting These were approved and signed. Matters Arising John Winson had won the monthly share competition with his share EBookers. John Winson and David Pankhurst had not been able to arrange for the dealing account to be moved to the internet. David said he would try and sort this out before the next meeting. Treasurers Report The treasurer was unable to attend but had reported that we had approx £900 available for investment. Share Monitors' Reports Our holdings were reviewed and it was decided to retain all of them for another month. Dealers Report We had purchased the following shares: Intercare - 193 @ £2.0675. Total cost = £419 Firestone Diamonds - 744 @ £0.5375. Total cost = £419 . Future Investments The following shares were put forward for consideration. 1st Dental Laboratories (David P) Xenova (David R) BP/Shell (Dacre) Capita (Bonnie) Genus (John Winson) Bonnie suggested we also consider the possibility of looking at other non-equity investments such as antiques or gold. After a short discussion it was decided that in view of the number of members who were unable to attend this meeting and the uncertainty as to exactly how much money we had available we would not make an investment this month.
