Matters Arising None Treasurers Report After the November Fidelity payment there was a balance of £975. Share Monitors' Reports Members were given a copy of our portfolio and the Stop Loss sheet as at the date of the meeting. They were also brought up to date on recent news for our current holdings. Intercare had briefly slipped into the Sell zone during this month and it was agreed that we would monitor it over the next month with a view to selling if it appeared to have reached a plateau. It was agreed to continue all our other holdings for another month. Dealers Report We had sold our Boots holding for £987 and purchased the following shares: JJB Sports127 @ £4.565£4.71 inc costs William Morrison296 @ £1.965£2.03 inc costs Unilever116 @ £4.994£5.15 inc costs Future Investments A number of shares were put forward for consideration and after a long discussion the following were deemed to be worthy of further consideration: Firestone Diamonds, Framlington Bio Med Unit Trust, PPL Therapeutics and United Utilities After further discussion it was agreed that after our "sensible" purchases of October we would be more adventurous and purchase £450, plus dealing costs, in each of the following for the reason indicated: Firestone Diamonds - A stock in a new sector which has been well tipped and is funding its expansion from its earnings. PPL Therapeutics - An exciting stock with tremendous growth potential but an equally low downside. Any Other Business The January meeting is due to be a social event at Brown's Wine Bar, Sidmouth on Friday 11 January 2002. Bonnie would check with Brown's if Mike had made the booking. Dacre agreed to check on the costings for a minibus taxi so that all members could enjoy the evening. Next Meeting This will be on Friday 11 January 2002 at Brown's Wine Bar.
