Minutes 11 May 2001 Present: Bonnie Blackwell, Dacre Holloway, John Winson, Brenda Noble, Mike West, Gwilys Price, David Pankhurst, David Redfern Apologies: Martin Smith, Bruce Beacham, Marian Thornton Minutes of Previous Meeting These were approved and signed. Matters Arising None Treasurers Report The treasurer had sent his apologies and had provided financial statement. It was unclear as to whether the balance included the proceeds of the sale of the Desire shares. Share Monitors Reports Members were brought up to date on recent news for our current holdings. It was agreed to continue all our holdings for another month. Dealers Report A copy of our portfolio showing the current value was distributed. We had made a loss of approximately £65 on the sale of the 2500 Desire Petroleum shares. Future Investments The suggestions put forward at the last meeting were discussed and it was agreed that we would purchase £500 each of the following: Bede Ferraris Because of the doubt over the bank balance it was agreed that John Winson would check with the Treasurer first. If there were insufficient funds then we would only buy the Bede shares. After note. We purchased 260 Bede and 178 Ferraris shares on 14 & 16 May respectively.
