Minutes 12 April 2002 Present: Bonnie Blackwell (Hostess), Dacre Holloway, Brenda Noble, David Redfern, Mike West, Gwilys Price, Marian Thornton Apologies: Bruce Beacham, Martin Smith, David Pankhurst, John Winson Minutes of Previous Meeting These were approved and signed. Matters Arising Marion had won the monthly share competition, her share Thorntons had gained 7.05% during the period since the last meeting. Members were asked to update their choice for the next 4 weeks. The details of our portfolio on the Hemscott website had been updated to reflect our recent purchase of shares in Persimon. Treasurers Report There was a balance of £375. Share Monitors Reports Members were given a copy of our portfolio. An up-to-date Stop Loss sheet was not available. Because of the absence of some members it was not possible to be brought up to date on the recent news for all of our current holdings. Our holding in JJB would still be monitored closely over the next month. It was agreed to continue all our other holdings for another month and to consider selling some of our shares in Intercare to realise some of our profit. Dealers Report Nothing to report. It was decided not to make any purchases this month. Future Investments The following shares put forward at the last meeting were discussed plus the following new options: Gwilys - Colt Telecom, Mitel Corporation Marion - GUS, Kingfisher Brenda - Barrets David Redfern - Amersham Bonnie - Capita Dacre - Regus, British Telecom Mike West - British Airways Any Other Business None.
