David is a retired veterinary surgeon, who, having worked in general practice for several years, then spent 18 years in the veterinary pharmaceutical business. His particular interest was in the development of vaccines and he played a major role in bringing many new vaccines onto the UK market. Within the investment club he has a special interest in pharmaceutical stocks plus biotechnology stocks to provide some sparkle and excitement. With a shopaholic wife and 12 and 14-year-old daughters suffering the same affliction, David is also kept well aware of the current “IN” retail chains!
